Yes. You can use Drupal synchronization with DX8. This does not export file/image assets which DX8 configuration may have as dependencies.
You can use the Drupal synchronization with DX8 to export all your website configuration including, DX8 configuration. This does not include any file/image asset dependencies that your DX8 configuration may have, the DX8 sync module will calculate these.
