Does DX8 work with Drupal revisions?
Yes. Although there is a known issue, see below for further information.
When saving a node and changing only the layout canvas, the revisions are not visible in the revision tab on the node. This is a known issue with Entity reference revisions, you can resolve this by applying a patch #30 which can be found on the issue queue on Drupal.org.
