Version 5.4.10 release details
Last updated: 1st August 2019
Released: 26th July 2019
Support for automatic entity updates has been removed from Drupal core 8.7 as explained here. DX8 relies on these automatic entity updates for updating to each version up until 5.4.10. If you need to update DX8 from a version <= 5.4.10, you will need to install the Devel Entity Updates module.
This page is to detail the latest changes and updates regarding DX8 version 5.4.10 and to give you an overview of how this may affect your experience with the platform. This release contains minor bug fixes.
There are the following known issues with version 5.4.10 of DX8:
- The selected master template in a view does not render and falls back to the default one, if you have a dynamic parameter in your view path on view pages.
The above issue will be resolved in version 5.4.11.
Here's what bug fixes this release includes:
Tab items with long titles in component form builder losing padding
Fixed a small styling issue where text in tab items on the component form builder was not correctly formatted if it wrapped to two or more lines.
It is sometimes not possible to rename selectors in the style tree
Fixed an issue where some items in the style tree were unable to be edited after they were created. These items should now be editable as usual.
Using menu_link_content on menu link config
Fixed a bug where using menu_link_content on menu link config would throw a Twig warning.
Menu is-active class is not added to Home menu links
Fixed a bug where having <front> as a URL in menus links would not add the is-active class on home pages in your menu.
It is recommended that you backup and upgrade your website on a development environment before applying to a production website.
