Overview
This page is to detail the latest changes and updates regarding DX8 version 5.4.1 and to give you an overview of how this may affect your experience with the platform. This release contains minor bug fixes and updates to existing functionality.

Highlights
New features this release includes:
Image style usage plugin
When exporting DX8 entities that use an Drupal image style, they are now exported as part of the DX8 Sync package.
Creating Component form helpers
A new action button "Add form helper" is now available in the helpers interface, allowing site builders to create component form helpers.
Bug fixes
Here's what bug fixes this release includes:
Component forms helpers not editable
Fixed a bug where saving component forms as helpers were not editable from the edit helpers interface.
Twig extension error
Fixed a bug where a Twig extension error occurred, when using DX8 on specific server configuration.
Changing responsive grid minimum width
Fixed a bug where changing the responsive grid minimum width resulted in receiving the 'Breakpoint widths should not intersect' validation message even though the widths did not intersect.
Testing notes
When upgrading to this version of DX8, it is recommended that you upgrade on a development environment, before upgrading a production website.
These are some recommended things to test:
- Edit a component and save the Component form as a helper, then navigate to DX8 > Helpers. Then edit your Component form helper and check you can re-order the form elements.
- Navigate to DX8 > website settings > responsive grid settings and try changing the minimum width value of some breakpoints, making sure they don't intersect and you don't get any validation messages.
Upgrade
It is recommended that you backup and upgrade your website on a development environment before applying to a production website.
